沙参的功效：
沙参具有养阴清热，润肺化痰，益胃生津之功效。 常用于阴虚久咳，痨嗽痰血，燥咳痰少，虚热喉痹，津伤口渴。 

The effects of Adenophora:
Adenophora has the functions of nourishing yin and clearing away heat, moisturizing the lungs and resolving phlegm, benefiting the stomach and promoting fluid. It is often used for chronic cough due to yin deficiency, tuberculosis cough with phlegm and blood, dry cough with less phlegm, deficiency and heat, throat numbness, and thirsty wounds.
